VERY REAL New Year Goals

As we step into a new year, it’s easy to set BIG goals and feel pressured to achieve them all at once. But real growth often happens in the small, intentional steps we take every day.

When setting goals for your mental health this year, consider focusing on realistic, meaningful intentions that fit your individualistic needs:

Understanding emotional spending and emotional eating patterns. (e.g. You don't need to shop at Amazon/Target every season)

Practicing daily coping skills, even in small doses. (e.g. walking, daily sun exposure, drinking more water)

Staying connected with your support system. (e.g. Reach out to friends, colleagues, family)

Allowing yourself to be vulnerable & ask for help when needed. (e.g. Talk to your therapist or medical provider)

These aren’t quick fixes—they’re ongoing practices. Progress isn’t linear, and every step forward, no matter how small, is worth celebrating.

If you’re looking for guidance in navigating these goals, we are here to support you.
